Rental terms
Car Rental 001 Uherske Hradiste
Transparent rules show you in advance what to expect – from the deposit and minimum rental period to travel abroad and handling insurance events.
Customer conduct rules
- Return the vehicle clean, washed and undamaged. Any damage or deterioration must be reported in advance.
- Make sure you comply with the agreed terms – especially the return time, refuelling and the no-smoking policy in the vehicle.
- In case of an insurance event, active cooperation with the lessor is required (accident report, contacting the police, etc.).
- Traffic violations (speeding, parking) and unpaid fines are paid by the renter. Such conduct may be considered a material breach of contract – the rental may be terminated and both the deposit and the remaining rental fee are forfeited. All damages will be recovered.
Basic rental terms
- Documents: the renter must present at least two identity documents. We reserve the right to request additional documents (e.g. health insurance card or criminal record extract) and to verify good conduct.
- Right to refuse: we reserve the right not to rent the vehicle without giving a reason.
- Payment: rental fee and collision deductible must be paid no later than at handover (deposit according to the price list / contract).
- Minimum rental period: 4 days.
- Drivers: the vehicle may be driven by a maximum of two people if they are listed in the contract.
- Billing: rental is billed in 24-hour blocks. After the agreed return time, a fee of 100 CZK / each started hour is charged.
- Vehicle return: by agreement, the vehicle can also be returned at another branch. The fuel level at return must not be lower than at handover.
Travel abroad
- Travel to neighbouring countries is possible only after prior agreement with the lessor.
- For trips abroad, the renter must, at their own expense, arrange assistance insurance for towing back to the Czech Republic in case of a breakdown, accident, etc.
Damage, insurance and liability
- Vehicle damage, including interior damage, may result in forfeiture of the deposit (except where demonstrably caused by another vehicle / participant).
- If the vehicle registration certificate is not returned, or if the license plate is damaged or lost, the deposit is forfeited.
- In the event of a traffic accident, the renter must always call the police, ensure an official record is made and contact the car rental immediately.
- In case of misfuelling, the deposit is forfeited and the renter pays all additional costs including downtime.
- Offences and fines are the renter’s responsibility; during the rental, the renter is considered the vehicle operator.
Operation and maintenance during the rental
- In case of any malfunction, stop, switch off the engine and contact the lessor. Do not carry out repairs over 1 000 CZK without consent.
- Smoking, consuming food and placing objects on the dashboard are prohibited. Animals are not allowed.
- The renter provides operating fluids as needed. Bulbs and fuses are replaced by the renter at their own expense (unless agreed otherwise).
- When leaving the vehicle, always secure it properly against theft and do not leave documents or valuables inside.
